Make a difference
Gap & Summer Team Placements
For 17-25 year olds looking to make a difference and have fun working with grassroots projects in teams of between 6 and 16 volunteers. These projects give volunteers the chance to experience life as part of a totally different community, and see directly the impact of their donations and work.
School Groups
At Quest we believe that an overseas expedition is an extremely rewarding and inspiring experience for someone of any age. The chance to experience another culture and explore a different way of life is something that we actively promote for personal development and discovery, and our school trips reflect this ideal.
Corporate & Charity Expeditions
The concept of community benefit to benefit business is something that we actively promote. These days, the idea of Corporate Social Responsibility is playing a prominent role in sustainable business enterprise. A corporate trip with Quest to help in the continuation of worthwhile projects in South America and Africa provides benefits that are far-reaching for both the community and for the volunteers.

Volunteer Voices:

"With only one day left in Babati, Tanzania, I cannot help but think back over how amazing the last 6 weeks have been. I have helped build a school, survived on a diet of beans and rice and most importantly, I have been lucky enough to meet and befriend a community of incredible, selfless and vibrant people ranging in ages from 3 to 83. I can honestly say that my experience here has been something that I will never forget."
Dixon Knox, Tanzania 2009
“If I could go back and do the whole thing again I don’t think I would change a single part. It was exhausting but totally worth it”
Victoria Spence, Villa Maria 2009

"Seeing the results and the changes in the environment around sand dams that were only one or two years old was amazing. Imagine what a difference the dams will make in future years! Also, I love that we were just there to assist THEM with work they would complete regardless, as opposed to going in like a rampaging rhino telling people what to do and how to do it and work on something massively technical that can't be maintained."
Paul Johnston, Kenya 2011
“We
built two cages at Jacj Cuisi which was really tough but ultimately very
rewarding”
Hattie Foster, Bolivia 2009
“Building cages in Jacj Cuisi felt very worthwhile, especially after getting to meet the animals in Machia.”
Chris Bentley, Bolivia 2009
